417 Whitehorse Road – Balwyn

Positioned on a prominent corner within one of Balwyn's busy commercial and residential precincts, the 417 Whitehorse Road development comprised the demolition of the existing building and construction of five new two-storey commercial properties.

The development was constructed from the ground up, incorporating a new ground-floor slab, suspended concrete slab, glazed facades, balconies and the complete installation of internal building services and compliance systems.

With construction taking place directly alongside active roads, footpaths, businesses and residential properties, site logistics formed a critical part of the delivery strategy. Temporary pedestrian diversions, footpath closures and street access requirements required ongoing coordination with local authorities to maintain public safety and minimise disruption to the surrounding precinct.
